The most expensive car in the world

A car costing 290,000 euros is a luxury from the realm of dreams for most people. However, the most expensive new car in the world is more than a hundred times pricier!

🥇 1. Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail

This unique, hand-built model from the world’s most luxurious car brand was produced in just four units worldwide. While the powertrain—a V12 petrol engine—may resemble other Rolls-Royce models, the bodywork is a complete one-off, and the interior, inlaid with 1,603 pieces of wooden veneer, took technicians two years to complete. The car’s price is an astronomical 29.6 million euros.

🥈 2. Rolls-Royce Boat Tail

Second place also goes to the British carmaker Rolls-Royce with its open-top Boat Tail model. The car’s design is inspired by classic yachts, with a trunk lid reminiscent of a ship’s deck. It is powered once again by a V12 petrol engine and only three units were produced. The price? Approximately 25.9 million euros.

🥉 3. Bugatti La Voiture Noire

What defines the pinnacle of luxury? For example, when the automaker of the world’s fastest car creates a completely unique model just for you—of which only one exists. That’s precisely the case with the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, produced as a one-off in honor of the lost Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic. An anonymous customer paid more than 17.3 million euros for this exclusive hypercar.

  • Price: 17,300,000 EUR
