Range is the most debated figure when it comes to electric vehicles. How did they perform in the test under real summer conditions?
The Norwegian auto club NAF, in cooperation with the magazine Motor.no, measured the real-world range of electric vehicles until their batteries were completely depleted. This provides a fairly accurate overview of the capabilities of individual models.
While the American EV Lucid Air GT covered the most kilometers on a single charge — specifically 832 km — it was significantly less than the manufacturer’s claimed range. On the other hand, the Tesla Model Y exceeded its promised range by the largest margin, covering 653 km, which is 67 km more than the official figure.
