Škoda still dominates the Czech market with new cars. Should it start to fear the influx of Chinese brands?
Škoda sold the most new vehicles in 2023 - exactly 77,490 cars. Hyundai finished in second place with 20,068 cars, and Volkswagen took bronze with 18,938 cars.
Škoda Octavia is unwaveringly the best-selling car in the Czech Republic, with 21,815 units sold. After all, Škoda models occupied seven places in the TOP 10.
📈 Chinese cars are coming
The growth of the Chinese car manufacturer MG is interesting. Its MG ZS model is very popular among motorists and with 2,034 units sold, it overtook such matadors as Renault Clio and Peugeot 2008.
