TOP 100 - Europe's best-selling cars in 2022

European sales of new cars for 2022. Traditional models are on the decline, SUVs and electric cars are the jumpers of the year.

And what new car was the best seller ever? With 206,816 units sold, the first place was dominated by the Peugeot 208. In second place was the Dacia Sandero with 200,550 units sold.

The best-selling European car of 2021 - the Volkswagen Golf - ended up in fifth place with 177,203 units sold, a year-on-year drop of 14%. It was even overtaken by a model from the same manufacturer, the Volkswagen T-Roc with 181,153 units sold, which occupied the bronze position.

The largest year-over-year increase in sales was recorded by the Tesla Model Y, which sold 417% more in 2022 than in 2021.
